Effective September 25, 2026. These terms govern tournament registration, credits, conduct, and rank-based results in Spades Tourneys.
1. The service
Spades Tourneys provides scheduled, skill-based Spades games and tournament brackets. Customers register to play single or as a team. The service may choose a four-player table arrangement based on the single players and teams who are ready. Schedules, table arrangements, field sizes, and game rules may change.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use only your own account. You may not use the service where doing so would violate applicable law.
3. Credits
- Each tournament entry costs 50 credits and each Play Now game costs 20 credits, unless a different fee is clearly shown before you enter.
- Credits are checked when you register but only charged when your tournament bracket or Play Now table locks. If a game can’t be completed because of a problem on our side, its entry fees are returned automatically.
- Each eligible account receives 155 free credits per week under the published weekly grant schedule.
- Additional credits may be offered for purchase.
- Credits do not expire.
- Credits are a limited, personal license to enter games. They are not money or property, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, cashed out, sold, gifted, or transferred.
- Purchasing credits does not create an opportunity to win money, merchandise, or anything else of real-world value.
4. Tournament results
Results provide rank, standings, match history, badges, or other in-service recognition only. Spades Tourneys does not offer cash prizes, payouts, winnings, or prizes with real-world monetary value.
5. Registration, partners, and ready tables
Customers choose to register single or as a team. The service chooses the table arrangement; the internal arrangement is not a separate customer-selected tournament format. When registered as a team, both players remain paired for that tournament unless a disconnection, rule violation, cancellation, or technical issue requires a different outcome under the published game rules.
When a registered customer’s four-player table becomes full before the complete tournament field, the service may offer a choice to play that table as a single game or keep the customer’s place in the forming tournament. The registration screen will explain what happens to the tournament entry and credits before the customer confirms either option.
6. Purchases and refunds
Purchases are subject to the price and terms shown at checkout and to the applicable store or payment provider’s rules. Except where required by law or the applicable store’s rules, used tournament entries are not refundable.
7. Fair play
You may not collude, use bots or unauthorized automation, exploit defects, manipulate matchmaking or results, harass other players, impersonate another person, evade enforcement, or disrupt the service. Spades Tourneys may investigate conduct and restrict, suspend, or close accounts to protect fair play and service integrity.
8. Scheduling and technical issues
Tournament times may change or be canceled. Disconnections, maintenance, or service failures may affect a game. Published game rules determine when an entry is returned, a match is resumed, or a result stands.
9. Intellectual property
Spades Tourneys and its branding, software, designs, and content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant only a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Spades Tourneys is not responsible for interruptions or losses outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Store notices
Apple, Google, and other app-store operators are not sponsors of Spades Tourneys tournaments and are not responsible for tournament operation or results.
12. Changes
Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
